Introduction to the Leadership Structure
The National Youth Movement – Uganda organogram illustrates the leadership structure from the national level down to the village level.
It shows how responsibilities and communication flow within the movement, ensuring that the voices of young people from every corner of the country are represented and heard at the highest level.
The structure starts with the National Chairman, supported by five Regional coordinators representing the Central, Eastern, Northern, Western, and Karamoja regions. Each region connects to leadership at the district, sub-county, parish, and village levels.
At the grassroots, two leaders (one male and one female) are at the village level to guarantee gender balance and equal participation.
This inclusive design ensures that youth concerns, ideas, and solutions flow upwards through the ranks, creating a unified national movement driven by the voices of young Ugandans.
Flow of Leadership:
Village coordinators (I male, 1 female) → Parish coordinator (1) → Sub-County coordinator(1) → District coordinator (1)→ Regional coordinators (5) → National Chairman.
